
Adam S. Barrist concentrates his practice in all areas of commercial litigation, tort litigation, and contract negotiation. He has handled a wide array of cases in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Recently, much of his practice has focused on high profile catastrophic injury cases and construction disputes. In the past few years alone, he has recovered millions of dollars for his personal injury clients.
Mr. Barrist's practice also includes employment contract negotiation and general representation on behalf of television celebrity talent.
In 2011, Mr. Barrist was featured in Philadelphia Magazine as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers "Rising Star." Such distinction is bestowed upon fewer than 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania on an annual basis.
Having lived in France for a significant portion of his life, Mr. Barrist is fluent in the French language and has represented French-speaking clients in litigation.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Villanova School of Law, Mr. Barrist is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
Active in the community, Mr. Barrist serves as the Chairman of Program Development for the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation. He also serves as a coach in the Newtown-Edgemont Little League Baseball and Marple Newtown Youth Soccer programs and is an active member of the Golden Slipper Club and Charities.
A writer in his spare time, Mr. Barrist is the author of the fictional legal thriller novel, The Concrete Lawyer, and is at work on a sequel, tentatively titled, Blue Blood Justice.
